Never heard of her, but she looks great. I will have to do some research :)
Do you want to link blogs by the way?

I loved her! Look at that yellow top outfit. She was/is so cool. That must be her daughter at the bottom? If I could have just 10 minutes to look through her closet...

Wow, she's aging very well.

kunsthaus - i really like your blog too. thanks for the nice comments in 'red light, green light' (as you noted there, i don't have a list of favorites at the moment). i enjoy & appreciate your participation. ps, you'll find info on her under simply: ines de la fressange.

carlene - yeah, keep it in the present tense.

carlene and allure - i think she's much more interesting and attractive now. yes, that's her daughter, she also has an older son. she is aging well, and one of the few women who can pull off that shapeless long short hair style and make it look very cool.

Oh, hey, I just picked up the latest Domino magazine and there's Inès! I can scan it for you, if you like.

^^ really? significant coverage? what's she up to?

The Sept. issue is all about the decor of people in fashion. She made over the reception room at Roger Vivier. (2 pages)

hot damn. okay, i'll pick up that issue tomorrow. i think she worked as a consultant for him... not sure. so it's not about their personal decor? or is it about any fashionable person's involvement with decor? how many notable figures are included? sorry, i guess i can't wait until tomorrow. lol

LOVE Ines! She used to have her own store in Paris, but I think it's out of business now. Anyway, I bought a beautiful pair of flat leather sandals with a suede leaf on the top on my honeymoon (9 years ago), so I have a soft spot for her.
She always looks amazing!

oh you lucky lucky thing. those sandals are a total treasure (for sentimental AND style reasons!). i totally forgot to pick up that domino issue. tomorrow!

Now she's chic & classic. I'm not sure whether I've heard of her or not, I'd have to dig through an old stack of magazines to see if Bazaar did some sort of "Fashionable Life" profile on her.

I esp. like #3, so easy & just plain cool.

she is a great fashion inspiration, out from the classic group: JackieO, Brigitte Bardot, Kate Moss...
