s.o.s.

i'm going to be stuck at home for a few days (this is already day 2, in fact), and i'm kicking myself that i didn't stockpile some material (magazines). i have the internet, but it's not as cozy to curl up with a laptop, and, honestly, magazines are easier - no searching, just page turning.

if fashion/style were not accessible to you 24/7 via the internet, how often would you make a point of seeking it out?

ps i may not be able to post this weekend. back to normal on monday!

I spend at least as much time reading magazines as I do blogs, so I couldn't go a day without some fashion stimulation. Deprived of both, I suppose I'd have to get to a store and at least look at it.

Sometimes shop windows are enough for me. Right now, though, I'm thinking about/reading about/shopping for fashion almost constantly. Like iheartfashion, it would be at most a day or two before I sought it out.

Hourly. Okay, maybe not, but at least 3 times a day, minimum.

I can't imagine my life without fashion. It wouldn't be me, the one I am now without it. As iheartfashion, I read mags and blogs equally, and I don't remember when I had a day without any kind of fashion stimulation

I'm with Iheart & atelier.
A couple times a month, to the bookstore to see the new issues of magazines and looking in the stores. Gone are the days when Fashion File & Videofashion came on tv on a regular basis.

I love me some fashion mags. Stacks and stacks of them live in my basement.

I've watched FT since it began airing (which I think is almost 20 years ago).

the 'net has allowed me to indulge in/explore my love of fashion WAY way more than i could previously... browsing for hours on the websites of stores that i might not normally feel welcome in or even be able to get to... reading blogs rather than mags that cost $$ (and that i might not be able to find easily). and i don't have cable. so sans 'net i think my consumption would go down precipitously. i'd probably end up browsing stores/window shopping more, and perhaps stationing myself at a bookstore w/ lots of mags. but still, it would totally suck! (esp. since street style pics is what i love the most, and it's something you just don't get in the non-'net fashion world).

Daily fashion stimulation. Between blogs, and magazines, and international magazines...I cannot go without it long.
