Out of touch

some clothes start my heart fluttering and some send my imagination into motion, because that's the only place i'll ever have access to them (usually due to expense, sometimes due to location). i can't stop liking what i can't have, but i am fairly content to daydream about it.
finish the sentence:

when i like something that i can't have, i feel _______

That is my usual state. I like so many things, but I don't necessarily want them. Once in a while, but not usually.

Sometimes I don't mind if the item is so far out of my reach I'll never have it. For instance I love Alice Temperley dresses but simply can't afford them.
But when I like something I can't have (for instance I'm currently lusting over blue snakeskin flats) just because I haven't managed my money well, then I feel anxious and frustrated.

. . . a pang. Then I enjoy the beauty of whatever-it-is, and move on.

Whew. Third time's the charm.

if it's too out of reach, i just admire.
if it's something that i can't afford temporarily (and the item won't wait) then i get very anxious and frustrated

like uniformlady and solemn cat, if its something within in reach im anxious.
