name one thing you would add or subtract here (you can't do both).

Great question for this outfit -- it made me stare and study and debate, thinking about whether to leave the legs barer or to add a bangle or a great long pair of earrings. Finally, it helped me realize that although I could never wear this (too short with a way-too-short waist), I think it's perfect as is. There's an insouciant elegance to the three pieces worn this way, as if they were just thrown on and then out the door and you look wonderful anyway. Nothing to blend them together except their structure and the weight of the textures and the particular slouch of the boots -- I really like it. You can tell.

I'd subtract the boots. They look cheap to me for some reason. At first I thought she was wearing shoes or booties with knee socks.

This isn't very constructive, but I love this outfit, I wouldn't change a thing. A coat if I'm cold, I suppose.

I like the proportions, and could easily be a very conservative, very elegant-chic look, but this looks down to earth, it has the classic feel without the stuffiness.
